Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a process by which pressure is applied by the pricking of needles in the body of the patients. The therapists performing the process of acupuncture are all professionals and qualified in this field. Therefore, the practitioners know what is effective and they use only sterile needles, so there is no occurrence of infections and other harmful effects. Through acupuncture very many needles are being pricked in the body. Acupuncture is applied on the specific points or meridians present in the person’s body. Through the pricking of needles by acupuncture, there is a release of energy and a flow of force on the body. The needles used in the process of acupuncture needs to be either warmed or twirled. These needles in acupuncture are not of the hollow form instead they are of the solid form and the size is of the hair but a little bigger.
In the process of acupuncture the person can feel the needles pricking but without any sensation of pain or uneasiness. To begin with, the area to be pricked is first properly cleaned with a medicinal disinfectant or any kind of alcoholic liquid. There is a feeling of grabbing when the needle is pierced on the concerned points when in the process of acupuncture. Nevertheless, later the patients feel relaxed and peaceful. Sometimes in the process of acupuncture, the patients can get the feeling of drowsiness and often doze of to sleep. There are usually no side effects in the process of acupuncture, but sometimes there is some or minute soreness and the feeling of tiredness.
