Shiatsu Courses
Shiatsu is a Japanese form of healing therapy. Shiatsu is a licensed form of therapy and medicinal technology. It is a therapy, whereby, the hands are used, as modes of treatment. There are many Shiatsu Institutions, where one can take up the various courses provided there. Many people aim at becoming a professional in Shiatsu therapy, and therefore they have to take up full-fledged shiatsu courses to qualify as one. In any Shiatsu institution, there are three basic shiatsu courses.
The first shiatsu course is the beginner’s course or the basic course. In this basic shiatsu course a student would obtain a practical certificate. In this course the student has to go through modules which are 8 in number. By going learning the 8 modules, you get the practical shiatsu certificate and a CPS, entitling the student a membership and a certificate enabling the student to treat cases which are not medicinal.
The second shiatsu course is an intermediary diploma, consisting of 43 steps or modules. In this part of the course, you are educated with the techniques of the therapy, which you can apply to various treatments. After this diploma in shiatsu, a student enters into the senior level.
The 3rd shiatsu course and the final one is the advanced course, where the student achieves the level and certificate of a shiatsu practitioner. This part of the shiatsu course consists of 64 modules. By this step, a student is educated to the final stage of the Shiatsu course and where he or she is made to connect and put passion in their practice.
