Shiatsu Standardisation
The traditional Japanese form of healing therapy is called the shiatsu. Shiatsu is a process that does not employ the use of any kind of foreign elements and therefore only hands, fingers and elbows are used in this healing process. The use of needles during the Shiatsu is absent. Instead, Shiatsu is used to reduce stress level present in the muscle and tissues of the body, to increases the immunity power to combat against diseases and the person bodily flexibility. The practitioner of shiatsu must obtain a license of the ministry of health and welfare. And he or she must under go a shiatsu education of at least three years and also take up the various exams of Shiatsu.
