Tai Chi is a Chinese form of physical exercise, which is of a slow and meditative basis. Tai Chi is performed to gain relaxation and a healthy balance in one’s life. Tai Chi is a healthy form of Chinese martial art, which lengthens a person’s life cycle, too. In today’s period, the art Tai Chi is performed by many people in group, within the conformity of a park or garden, as a routine that is slow in motion and technique.

Tai Chi is originated from the concept of yin yang in Chinese, also known as the supreme force or the ultimate force. Tai Chi can be translated as a form of yoga and meditation that is in motion. Tai Chi form is inclusive of very many sets martial art steps. Most Tai Chi practitioners take it as a form of meditation, to attain the ‘chi’ or force present in the body. Tai Chi helps in the circulation of the force within the body and acts as a therapy of acupuncture.

Tai Chi is not only for the force of the body, but it is also used to inculcate the peace in both the body and the mind. You can achieve a sense of tranquillity, while practicing Tai Chi. But to perform Tai Chi you must know the basic techniques, like balance, rhythm, body’s genesis, the walk, the movements, the sways, the stand and all the other movements of Tai Chi.
